Depart on one of our trips early from the UK (6am is advised) and enjoy breakfast on board your three-hour flight.
On arrival at Rovaniemi Airport you will be greeted by your elf (your English speaking local guide) and everyone will be given special thermal winter clothing, including overalls, scarves, gloves, socks and boots.
Next: a trip to a husky farm where you will have a chance to meet these friendly and beautiful animals before having a 30-minute husky ride in a sledge.
Bellies full, it’s on to the Reindeer Farm where you’ll take part in the unique Arctic Circle crossing ceremony. Everyone will receive a personal Arctic Circle crossing certificate. After the ceremony everyone can try their skills at reindeer driving and can obtain their “official” driver’s license. There will also be a chance for some tobogganing.
Lunch is enjoyed at the cosy Arctic Hotel Pohtimo, a traditional Finnish Hotel on the shores of Lake Pohtimolampi where local dishes will be served.

At the end of the day Father Christmas will emerge from the Lapland forest in a sledge pulled by reindeer to greet all members of your party and to give a small gift to each child.
