NICE Le Chantecler, Hotel Negresco

Le Negresco is recognised as one of France’s most famous hotels with a superb heritage of style, service and comfort.  The hotel stands on the Promenade des Anglais, overlooking the spectacular Bay of Angels.

Many hotels claim to have a world-class art collection but in the case of the stunning Le Negresco, it is utterly true. Works by Moretti, Dalí and sculptress Niki de Saint-Phalle are strikingly mixed in with the interior’s rare antiques and historical paintings. Owner Jeanne Augier is an art connoisseur who has amassed a museum-worthy collection here (the Negresco has been family-owned for more than fifty years). The striking pink-and-white building, complete with a domed tower, is a National Historic Monument.

The sumptuous, two Michelin star Chantecler restaurant has woodwork dating back to 1751 and a wine cellar containing over 15,000 bottles. The Grand Menu Signature by chef Jean-Denis Rieubland offers six sublime courses including for example an inventive crab and mango cannelloni with caviar, and steamed turbot.

Guide Price: From £2,125 per person based on a day return for six people flying by Citation Mustang from Luton.

Other departure airports are available. Please contact us for details.

Guide Prices are low-season, entry prices. We include overseas limousine transfers but we do not include menus in our prices as we find clients prefer to make their own choices on the day.
