“To be nominated for this award means a lot to me. I have been so grateful and blessed to have coached many athletes in the Hoover community the last 4 years and built a connection with many of the parents as well. Being around a group of kids and in a community that supports and cares is an amazing feeling. None of the accomplishments I have had would be possible without the hard work and dedication day in and day out from our athletes and coaches on our team. Being recognized by Jefferson’s as Coach of the Year is amazing! There are a lot of great coaches in this area and I am grateful to have been chosen for this award. Devin Patterson will receive a $500 gift card to Jefferson’s, as well as a commemorative plaque featuring Patterson as our “Jefferson’s Hoover Coach of the Year” for all restaurant patrons to see.
