Congratulations to Rob Lively, our 2025 Jefferson’s Dalton Teacher of the Year!

Mr. Lively teaches Social Studies at Eastbrook Middle School.

Mr. Lively’s students described him as funny, joyful, and great at connecting with everyone individually. His students also shared a few inside jokes–such as the “serious chair,” and the fact that he does NOT like pineapple pudding.

One nominator summarized Mr. Lively’s welcoming nature: “He’s funny and exciting, but also caring. He checks up on his students. Mr. Lively creates bonds with the kids–they always want to stop by his classroom to say hi, even when they’re heading somewhere else.”
