Every year, in honor of National Coaches’ Day, Jefferson’s Jacksonville recognizes a coach who goes above and beyond for their athletes and their community. These coaches have made an impact on their players’ lives on and off the field and have been nominated by school and community members.

Congratulations to Cameron Martin, our 2025 Jefferson’s Jacksonville Teacher of the Year!

Mrs. Martin teaches fifth grade Science at Weaver Elementary School.

Whether staying after school to offer extra help, finding creative ways to make lessons engaging, or simply being a positive role model, she demonstrates an unwavering commitment to her students’ growth and success.”
• “Mrs. Martin goes above and beyond for her students by planning fun activities and hands-on science labs for them. She has a very bubbly and fun-loving personality that really reaches the students.”
