MURFREESBORO, Ten. – Aug. 11, 2025 – Local wing spot Jefferson’s is making moves from its original East Main Location to a new space at 109 N. Maple Street, previously occupied by Fire Korean BBQ. Jefferson’s will be fully operational at 1916 East Main through closing hours on Sunday, August 10, and the new North Maple location will be open and serving customers on Monday, August 11.
Jefferson’s in Murfreesboro has been a local staple since it opened on East Main Street 14 years ago, best known for its Double-Dipped wings, hand-pattied burgers, and oysters. The move to 109 N. Maple places the restaurant on the Square in downtown Murfreesboro, one of the city’s most walkable, vibrant neighborhoods.
Jefferson’s in Murfreesboro is owned and operated by brothers Nick and David Carulla, who began as Jefferson’s employees before becoming local restauranteurs. Fire Korean BBQ, the previous occupants of 109 N. Maple, was also a Carulla brother operation.
“The years at East Main have been an incredible chapter for us,” said Nick and David Carulla in a joint statement. “This relocation is about positioning Jefferson’s for the future. Being on the Square means we’re right at the heart of the community, in a space that will help us grow and continue serving Murfreesboro for years to come.”
