Arika shared, “I love seeing a student finally understand something they’ve been working so hard on or feeling proud of themselves for something they once thought was too hard. Those moments stick with me. It has also meant growing into a role where I feel connected to the students, the staff, and especially the special education community. I’ve learned patience, compassion, and how important it is to meet each child where they are.”
