Coach Albert’s nominator shared, “Coach Pam is the coach that will always stay behind to help one in need she is constantly the coach that goes above and beyond. She has coached for many years and never fails to succeed an outstanding ball team. If you were to ask me who is by far the best coach I would say Mrs. Pam Albert no matter if there’s experienced kids or just starting out she will always get them where they need to be. She brings love and laughter to every court.”

Congratulations to Jennifer Skelton, our 2025 Jefferson’s Summerville Teacher of the Year!
Jennifer teaches seventh and eighth grade Math at Trion Middle School. She has been teaching for 24 years.
We can’t think of a better way to tell you what makes her an incredible teacher than by sharing directly from her nominators:
- “Jen is always going above and beyond to help students and coworkers. She truly treats everyone around her like family. She loves what she does and it shows.”
- “When I was a freshman, I was struggling to learn the material. She helped me after hours for weeks to help me learn. Jen is the most humble, kind, caring, loving person and teacher I know.”
When asked about her favorite teaching memory, Jennifer said, “Each day, the community shares its children with me. Each day is my favorite memory.”
