Jefferson’s Restaurants Expand; Plans On Additional Growth
Concept Has Nearly Doubled Footprint in Last Five Years
LAWRENCE, Kan. – May 28, 2024 – Jefferson’s restaurants, a neighborhood bar and grill concept headquartered in Lawrence, Kansas, has added three new restaurants to its lineup, nearly doubling its footprint in the last five years. The popular sports-friendly concept is positioning itself for even more growth, eyeing new restaurants, launching a system-wide marketing fund and expanding its menu.
Jefferson’s, known for its double-dipped wings, hand-pattied burgers and fresh oysters, now operates 36 restaurants in five states. The new locations are in Hampton Cove, Alabama, Adairsville, Georgia, and Winchester, Tennessee.
“As a franchise concept, we work with partners who share our focus on intentional growth and choose locations ready for a community-minded, neighborhood concept,” said Brandon Graham, “Our approach may be a little different, but we have a strong track record of success.”
Nearly 65 percent of the locations are owned by people who first worked at a Jefferson’s restaurant. Still, the concept is always open to bringing on strategic partners who align with Jefferson’s commitment to quality food in a friendly atmosphere.
“Jefferson’s is all about a great wing and a good time,” said Graham.
Co-op Marketing Fund
To maximize Jefferson’s steady growth, the concept recently rolled out a system-wide cooperative marketing fund. The fund will allow the system’s 12 franchisees to consolidate resources on the back end, freeing up funds for hyper-local outreach.
“We want our franchisees to be able to support and invest in initiatives that make sense for their neighborhoods,” said Graham. “By rolling out a cooperative marketing fund, our franchise partners can maximize their spend.”
New Season. New Fare.
Jefferson’s is also leveraging its status as a great place for game watching by adding seasonal summer fare to the menu, featuring classics like All-Beef Ballpark Dogs, Philly-Loaded Fries and Ballpark Sundaes.
At Jefferson’s, guests help shape the menu. Seasonal items that are fan-favorites find a permanent home, like the Warm Pretzel Bites served with Queso and a Sweet ‘N Sassy dipping sauce.
“We know Jeff’s guests love quality food with big flavors,” said Graham. “Our menu is full of new bold tastes.”
The first Jefferson’s opened in Jacksonville, Ala. in 1991, followed by the second location in Lawrence, Kan., in 2000.
