Congratulations to Connor Teems, our 2026 Jefferson’s Rockmart Teacher of the Year!

We can’t think of a better way to tell you what makes him an incredible teacher than by sharing directly from his nominators:

“This teacher should be considered because he truly cares for every single one of his students. He goes above and beyond for all of his students in his classroom and in the marching band. He makes sure everyone is cared for and pays close attention to teaching and making sure every student leaves his classroom with information to help them.”

Connor shared, “Being a teacher means the world to me. Being raised by teachers, I have always seen how big of an impact educators have on the students they teach, especially in rural areas like ours. I became a teacher so that I could make a difference for my community.”
